Becoming an Event Organizer

To create and manage competitions on Kompdesk, you need to register as an Event Organizer. This creates your organisation profile and gives you access to the Competition Wizard.

How to Register

1. Go to kompdesk.com/become-organizer (or click "Become an Organizer" from the homepage)
2. You will see a benefits overview showing what organizers can do

If you are new to Kompdesk:

1. Fill in the registration form:
   • First name and surname
   • Email address
   • Password (minimum 6 characters) and confirm password
   • Organisation name
   • Accept terms and conditions
2. Optionally sign up with Google Sign-In instead
3. Click "Register"

If you already have a Kompdesk account:

1. Sign in with your existing credentials
2. Enter your Organisation name
3. Accept terms and conditions
4. Click "Create Organisation"

What Happens After Registration

1. Your organisation is created with an auto-generated URL slug
2. You receive a free Bronze event token to create your first competition
3. You are redirected to a welcome page
4. Verify your email (if you registered with email/password)
5. You can now access the Organizer Dashboard and start creating events

Free Trial

Every new organizer receives a free Bronze event token, which lets you create one competition with up to 150 entries across up to 2 days. No payment is required to get started.

To create additional events or larger competitions, you can purchase more tokens from the Billing and Tokens page in your Organizer Dashboard.

Phone Verification (Optional)

Some registration flows may ask you to verify a phone number via SMS:

1. Enter your country code and phone number
2. Click "Send Code"
3. Enter the OTP code sent to your phone
4. Click "Verify"

This is optional and helps secure your account.
