Each competition has a dedicated registration page where studios, dancers, judges, and guardians can register directly for that event. This is separate from creating a Kompdesk account. It links you to a specific competition.
How to Access the Event Registration Page
You will typically receive the event registration link from the event organizer. The link looks like:
kompdesk.com/event/[event-name]/register
You can also find registration links on the event's public page or from your studio owner.
Who Can Register
The registration page supports five role types:

| Judge | A judge registration code from the organiser |
| Parent/Guardian | A dancer on your Parent/Guardian account. You are sent to your portal to create or claim one first if you have none |
Registration Flow
If You Already Have an Account
- Open the event registration link
- Sign in with your existing credentials or Google
- Select your registration type
- Complete the role-specific form
- Submit. You are now registered for the event
If You Are New to Kompdesk
- Open the event registration link
- Choose Sign Up to create a new account
- Fill in your details (name, email, password)
- Select your registration type
- Complete the role-specific form
- Verify your email if required
- Submit. Your account is created and you are registered for the event
Role-Specific Details
Studios: Search for your existing studio or create a new one. You will need your studio name, a contact name, email, and city/country.
Affiliated Dancers: Enter your studio's invite code to link yourself. You will need your full name, date of birth, and government ID (last 6 digits only are stored).
Independent Dancers: Register without a studio affiliation. Same personal details as affiliated dancers.
Judges: You need a judge registration code provided by the event organiser. Enter your name, specialty, years of experience, and phone number.
Parents and guardians: Choose the Parent/Guardian card and pick which of your dancers to register. Each child is registered individually.
If you have no dancer on your account yet, Kompdesk hands you to your Parent/Guardian Portal to create or claim one, then brings you back to this event to finish registering. A banner keeps the event in view while you are there, so you do not lose your place.
After Registration
Once registered, you can access the event through your portal:
- Studios: manage dancers, submit entries, track fees
- Dancers: view schedule, entries, and results
- Judges: access the judging interface on event day
- Parents and guardians: monitor your children's participation, and open each child's own event portal
