Viewing Your Schedule

This guide explains how to read the competition schedule and track your performances on event day.

Accessing the Schedule

1. Log into your Kompdesk account
2. Navigate to your event portal
3. Click "Schedule" in the menu
4. Your entries are automatically highlighted

Schedule Display

Multi-Day Events:

• Tab navigation shows each competition day
• Each tab displays: Day name, Date, Entry count

Day Information:

• Start time and end time
• Search bar to find specific sections

Schedule Item Types (Color Coded)

The schedule shows different item types, each with a distinct color:

Your Entries Highlighted

Your entries are easy to spot:

• Yellow border around your performances
• "You" badge next to your entries
• Entry number (#001, etc.)
• Routine name and dancer count

Schedule Item Information

For each item on the schedule:

• Start Time - When the section begins
• End Time - Estimated completion
• Duration - How long the section lasts (e.g., "2h 30m")
• Section Name - Age division, style, level
• Entry List - All entries in the section (expandable)

Status Indicators

Items show their current status:

Live Schedule (Event Day)

On competition day, the schedule updates in real-time:

What You'll See:

• Current section performing (green highlight)
• Progress percentage (how far through the day)
• Estimated delay or ahead status
• Automatic refresh (every 90 seconds)

"Get Ready!" Alerts:

• Notification when your section is NEXT
• Also alerts when you're 2 sections away
• Gives you time to prepare backstage

Understanding Time Estimates

Important: Schedule times are estimates:

• Based on planned durations
• May shift if sections run long or short
• Check live schedule for most accurate times

Tips:

• Arrive at least 30 minutes before your first entry
• Watch the current section, not just the time
• Be backstage when your section is called

Multiple Entries

If you have several performances:

• All your entries are listed together
• Note the gaps between performances
• Plan costume changes accordingly
• Check if any entries are back-to-back

Finding Your Entries

Search Function:

• Use the search bar at top of schedule
• Search by section name or entry details
• Find your specific performances quickly

Filtering:

• Look for the yellow highlight
• Your entries stand out from others
• Click to expand entry details

Schedule Conflicts

If your entries are too close together:

1. Contact your studio owner first
2. They can request timing adjustments
3. Organizer reviews and makes final decisions
4. Not all requests can be accommodated

Mobile View

On mobile devices:

• Compact schedule view available
• Swipe between days
• Tap sections to expand
• Status updates work the same
