The Studio Code page displays your unique code that dancers use to link their accounts to your studio when registering for events.
Viewing Your Code
Your studio code is displayed in large monospace text in the centre of the page. Use the Copy button to copy it to your clipboard for easy sharing.
If your studio doesn't have a code yet, click "Generate Studio Code" to create one.
How Dancers Use This Code
The page includes step-by-step instructions for your dancers:
- Share this code with your dancers (display it in your studio, send via email, etc.)
- They go to the event registration page and select "Dancer with Studio"
- They enter this code to link their registration to your studio
- Once registered, you can manage their entries from the Dancers tab
What the Code Does
- Links a dancer's Kompdesk account to your studio
- Allows dancers to see their personal schedule, entries, and results through their own portal
- Ensures their registration fees are tracked under your studio
- Gives you visibility of self-registered dancers in your Dancers tab
Tips for Sharing
- Display it in your studio: print it out or put it on a notice board
- Include in emails: send it to dancers and parents before competition registration opens
- Share before each event: remind dancers to use it when registering
